So, I have been wanting to have a dog for quite sometime. Since our complex does not allow pets
I figured I need to get creative to get in my "dog" fix.
We decided to go visit the Rexburg Animal Shelter to play with some of the dogs!
It was a blast!
We first decided to play with the big dogs outside. We tried to play fetch with them
but none of them since interested.
So we just petted them until their hearts' delight!
This cutie was a snuggle machine. She kept coming up to us and laying herself right on top of us!
We discovered that if we started petting one dog, the other two decided that they needed to be as well. So we always had a dog on each side.
Afterwards, we decided to go play with the cute puppies! They were so adorable! When I am around dogs, I tend to pull out the kissy face and the baby talk.
I can't help myself. They are just so cute!
They were quite the rowdy bunch. They kept fighting over the same toy that was actually a cat toy. And when they lost interest in that they decided to head for each other!
This cute pup above had something against the couch. He declared war on it and kept biting it. It was really funny!
All in All, it helped give me my "dog" fix. I found out that you can volunteer there so I'm hoping to go back soon and play with them and take them for walks.
