Well today I graduated from College! Woot!
I cannot believe the time has finally come. It seems like just yesterday, I was living in the dorms for my first semester, lost and confused in a new place.
Now, here I am, 6 years later.
Ha, Ironically I still have short hair!
Anyways, I have learned so many things over these past 6 years. It is crazy to think that I
came here a girl and hopefully leaving a stronger woman.
I would not have been able to do this without the great help of my parents. They always encouraged me to keep going when things got tough. They financially supported me through my entire experience as a music major; always making sure I had money to buy a new instrument, reeds, music, food. They helped me pay for everything so I could focus on my studies without having to work. I will be forever grateful for everything they have done for me my entire life!
I also had the help of some amazing friends! I probably won't be able to get a picture of all of them on here because there were so many. Some have stayed with me the whole way, while others came into my life for a short time, right when I needed them, and I will always remember them. They have showed me love, compassion, and patience. I'm so thankful for all of them!
I was also able to find the love of my life while here at school. Spencer Clark is my best friend and the greatest husband ever! I am so lucky to have found him here!
Although I did not go to commencement, I did go to the Performing Arts convocation where I received my empty diploma cover. The real diploma is in the mail! I got to see some neat projects from other students and also hear President Clark of the college and Elder Clark of the 70 Speak. It was awesome!
President Clark speaking
Elder Clark of the 70 speaking
I finally made it!
