Movie Drive in

Monday night, we decided to head to the drive in to watch Ice Age 4 and Brave. For both movies, we only paid $19.50 for all 3 of us! We thought that was a heck of a deal! 

Before heading there, we decided to go play some arcade games at Fat Cats! It was a blast! We showed Mom our favorite game: Deal or No Deal. 

We have decided that Mom is our official lucky charm because the first 2 times we played it we got 500 tickets! It was sweet! 

Fat Cats does this cool thing where when you buy tokens you can win free stuff like a free bowling game or stuff animal. I have gotten a stuff animal every time we have gone. I guess it will be my collection for when we start having children.

After a quick stop to Walmart for some treats, we entered the Drive in. It was so cool! I had never been to one before. We did some rearranging of the seats so we could all sit comfortably for the show. 

We all really enjoyed Ice Age 4. Normally, I don't really like the sequels of movies, especially the 4th one! But, this one turned out to be pretty good. It had funny little jokes all throughout that made it fun to watch! We were even able to find some free posters of it at Fat Cats. 

We were all really excited to see Brave. We had heard so much about it. It was a thrill to watch it on the big screen! Unfortunately, we did not think the movie was as good as everyone made it seem. I thought it was quite predictable. It reminded me of the story plot of The Little Mermaid. Some princess wishes for a new life, gets it from a witch, hates it, and so spends the rest of the movie trying to fix it. We also wonder if it could have been because we were all really tired. The movie started at like 11:30 pm and we had been staying up really late since mom had gotten in.

So, I am willing to give it a second chance when it comes out to redbox. Maybe we were just too tired to enjoy it. 

All in All it was a fun time! I wish there were more drive-ins!
